3. Cooking Tips and Usage
Pre-treatment: Soaking in cold water for about 10 minutes before cooking makes the rice cakes softer and completely removes the odor of alcohol (ethanol). Tteokbokki: Add fish cakes and green onions to a sauce made with gochujang, soy sauce, and sugar, then simmer for about 5 to 7 minutes.
